Here, King Gesar is invoked together with the hosts of Dra-Lha Werma, entering the sacred dance and bestowing the great blessing of the awakened warrior lineage.

In the Tibetan Vajrayana tradition, Lingdro is not merely a ritual dance or a traditional song. It is an offering through body, speech, and mind: the body moves in sacred dance, speech resounds as devotional melody, and the mind rests in remembrance, supplication, and openness to blessing.

In Chapter II, practitioners are instructed to sing with supreme devotion, longing, and faith. The dance is not performed merely as an outer display; rather, it becomes a way of entering a living mandala of blessing, where every movement, every sound, and every line of song becomes an offering.

This chapter praises King Gesar as an embodiment of wisdom, compassion, and enlightened activity:

Divine son, radiant in wisdom like the sun.
Lord whose compassion blossoms like the full moon.
Great lion whose blessings flash swiftly like lightning.
White Werma, noble lord of accomplished purpose.

This is one of the most moving passages in Lingdro Dechen Rolmo. A son cannot forget his father; and because he does not forget, he supplicates. This image expresses the intimate bond between the practitioner and King Gesar — not as a distant historical figure, but as a living source of blessing held within the heart.

༈ ལེའུ་གཉིས་པ། བྲོ་གཞུང༌།

Chapter II. Main Dance.

༈ གླིང་བྲོ་བདེ་ཆེན་རོལ་མོ་ལས། །
LING-DRO DECHEN ROLMO LE.
As stated in Ling-Dro Dechen Rolmo.

དང་པོ་བྲོ་ཡི་བྱིན་འབེབས་ནི། །
DANGPO DRO-YI JIN-BEB NI.
First, to bring down the blessings of the dance.

མོས་གུས་གདུང་བའི་ཡིད་མཆོག་གིས། །
MOGUE DUNG-WEI YID CHOK GI.
With supreme devotion, longing, and faith.

རབ་བསྐུལ་ཞི་ཞིང་དགའ་བའི་ཉམས། །
RAB-KUL ZHI ZHING GA-WEI NYAM.
One should invoke deeply, with peaceful and joyful presence.

སྙན་འགྱུར་ཚངས་པའི་དབྱངས་ལྟ་བུའི། །
NYEN-GYUR TSANG-PEI YANG TABU.
With a melody like the divine voice of Brahma.

གླུ་ནི་འདི་ལྟར་བླངས་པར་བྱ། །
LU NI DITAR LANG-PAR JA.
One should sing in this way:

དགྲ་བླ་ཝེར་མའི་དཔུང་དང་བཅས་ཏེ། །
DRA-LHA WERMAI PUNG DANG CHEY-TEY.
With the hosts of the Werma war deities.

བག་བྲོ་གཟི་བྱིན་ཐིབས་སེ་བྱོན་ནས། །
BAK-DRO ZIJIN THIP-SEY JOEN NEY.
Descend with elegance and splendour.

གཡས་གྲལ་ལྷ་ཡི་བྲོ་ལ་ཞུགས་ཤོག །
YAE DREL LHA-YI DRO LA ZHUK SHOK.
Enter the right row of the divine dance.

ཕོ་རྒྱུད་དཔའ་བོའི་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབ་ཤོག །ཨ་ཏེ་ཧོ་སེ། །
PHO-JUE PAWOI JIN-CHEN PHOB SHOK. ATEY-HO-SEY.
Bestow the great blessing of the male warrior lineage. Atey Ho Sey.

བུ་ཡིས་ཕ་དེ་བརྗེད་པར་མི་སྲིད། །
BU YI PHA DEY JEPAR MI-SID.
A son can never forget his father.

ངས་ནི་མི་བརྗེད་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
NGE NI MI-JEY SOLWA DEB.
I too do not forget, but supplicate you.

ཡིད་ལ་སེང་ཆེན་རྒྱལ་པོ་དྲན་ནས། །
YID-LA SING-CHEN GYALPO DREN-NEY.
Remembering the lion king in the heart.

རྐང་པས་བྲོ་དང་ལག་པས་གར་སྟབས། །
KANG-PEY DRO DANG LAG-PEY GAR TAB.
The feet and hands perform the dance movements.

ངག་གིས་གདུང་དབྱངས་ལྷང་ལྷང་སྒྲོགས་ནས། །
NGAG-GI DUNG YANG LHANG LHANG DROK NEY.
Speech resounds with clear, yearning melody.

མཁྱེན་པའི་ཉི་མ་གསལ་བའི་ལྷ་སྲས། །
KHEN-PEI NYIMA SEL-WEI LHA SEY.
Divine son, radiant in wisdom like the sun.

བརྩེ་བའི་ཟླ་བ་རྒྱས་པའི་མི་རྗེ། །
TSEWAI DAWA GEPAI MIJEY.
Lord whose compassion blossoms like the full moon.

བྱིན་རླབས་གློག་ལྟར་མྱུར་བའི་སེང་ཆེན། །
JINLAB LOK-TAR NYURWEI SING-CHEN.
Great lion whose blessings flash swiftly like lightning.

སྐུ་རྗེ་དོན་གྲུབ་ཝེར་མ་དཀར་པོ། །
KU-JE DONDUP WERMA KARPO.
White Werma, noble lord of accomplished purpose.

འཛུམ་པའི་ཞལ་རས་སྟོན་ལ་བྱོན་ཤོག། །
DZUM-PEI ZHEL-RE TOEN LA JOEN SHOK.
Come and reveal your smiling face.

སྙན་པའི་གསུང་དབྱངས་སྒྲོགས་ལ་བྱོན་ཤོག །
NYEN-PEI SUNG YANG DROK LA JOEN SHOK.
Come and let your melodious speech resound.

དགྱེས་པའི་ཐུགས་ཀྱིས་དགོངས་ལ་བྱོན་ཤོག །
GYE-PEI THUK KYI GONG LA JOEN SHOK.
Come with joyful heart and caring intent.

བྱིན་རླབས་བརྡ་རྟགས་སྟོན་ལ་བྱོན་ཤོག །
JINLAB DA-TAK TOEN LA JOEN SHOK.
Come and reveal the signs of blessing.

ཕྲིན་ལས་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབ་ལ་བྱོན་ཤོག །
THINLEY JIN-CHEN PHOB LA JOEN SHOK.
Come and bestow the great blessing of enlightened activity.

ལུས་ངག་ཡིད་གསུམ་མཆོད་པ་འབུལ་ན། །
LUE-NGAG-YID SUM CHOPA BUEL NA.
As we offer body, speech, and mind.

མ་གཡེལ་ཐུགས་རྗེས་དགོངས་ཤིག་ནོར་བུ། །
MAYEL THUK-JE GONG SHIK NORBU.
Care for us unfailingly, O Jewel.

ཕ་ཡིས་བུ་དེ་བརྗེད་པར་མི་སྲིད། །
PHA-YI BU DHE JEPAR MI-SID.
A father can never forget his son.

མ་བརྗེད་ཡོད་ན་ད་ལྟ་ཕེབས་ཤོག། །
MA-JEY YOENA DATHA PHEB SHOK.

ཕེབས་ནས་བཀྲ་ཤིས་བྱིན་རླབས་མཛོད་ཅིག། །།
