From 1 to 11 October 2026, Lama Sonam Tashi Rinpoche will return to Hanoi to guide a special series of Dharma programs in the Dudjom Tersar tradition. Hosted at Pháp Vân Pagoda, 1299 Giải Phóng, Hanoi, the program includes a Tröma Nagmo retreat, a Tröma Nagmo Bhumtsok, the Orgyen Norlha Guru empowerment, a Chenrezig empowerment, and a public presentation of Vajra Dance.

Lama Sonam Tashi Rinpoche and His Connection with Vietnam

Lama Sonam Tashi Rinpoche has been teaching in Vietnam since 2022. His visits have enabled Vietnamese Dharma students to encounter the Dudjom Tersar tradition through direct teachings, communal practice, and a growing body of Vietnamese-language study materials. Tröma Nagmo Bhumtsok A large-scale accumulation offering of 100,000 offerings to Tröma Nagmo. The program also includes Refuge and Ngakpa vow ceremonies. On 9 October, there will be a Chöd prayer for the deceased and the blessing of Tröma Nagmo skull-cup vases.

 

10 OCTOBER 2026 · 14:00–17:00

Orgyen Norlha Guru Empowerment A Lotus Wealth practice program associated in the tradition with the cultivation of merit, auspicious conditions, and the clearing of obstacles. Lotus Wealth vases will also be blessed.

 

11 OCTOBER 2026 · 09:30–11:30

Chenrezig Empowerment The morning program includes a Chenrezig empowerment and prayers for health and longevity, offering participants an opportunity to connect with the awakened quality of compassion.

Vajra Dance The afternoon presentation introduces the dignity and beauty of Vajrayana ritual dance through movement, music, sacred costume, and traditional symbolism.

Students with an existing Vajrayana foundation may attend the Bhumtsok and empowerments as advised.
