🌑 Introduction to Troma Nagmo – Dudjom Tersar
In Vajrayana Buddhism, alongside the teachings transmitted through scriptures, there exist profound hidden teachings known as Terma (treasure teachings)—concealed and blessed by great realized masters, especially Guru Padmasambhava, for the benefit of future generations.
When the right conditions arise, these teachings are revealed by Tertöns (treasure revealers) and passed down through an unbroken lineage of oral transmission. Because of this, they retain their fresh blessing power and remain especially effective for practitioners in this time.
Among the more recent treasure lineages, Dudjom Tersar, revealed by Dudjom Lingpa, is considered particularly profound. Within it, the practice of Troma Nagmo (the Black Wrathful Mother) stands out as a powerful and deep path.
🔥 Essence of the Practice
Troma Nagmo belongs to the Highest Yoga level, directly pointing to the essence:
Realizing the wisdom of emptiness
Cutting through ego-clinging at the root
Transforming fear and obstacles into the path
With pure motivation, strong faith, and diligent practice, this path can lead to swift and extraordinary realization.
According to the lineage, 13 disciples of Dudjom Lingpa attained the rainbow body, and more than 1,000 practitioners achieved the realization of Vidyadharas.
📜 The Path
The Troma Nagmo cycle presents a complete path, including Ngöndro (preliminary practices), main sadhana, Tsok offerings, Phowa (transference of consciousness), and Dakini practices.
Each aspect serves to purify obscurations, accumulate merit, and reveal innate wisdom.
📚 Vietnamese Translation Set
The complete set has now been translated into Vietnamese with clarity and care, under the authorization of H.H. Dudjom Pema Sherpa Rinpoche (Dudjom III), preserving the authenticity of the lineage:
Troma Nagmo Sadhana (medium length)
Troma Nagmo Sadhana (short version)
Ngöndro & Tsok practices
Changbu healing ritual
“Rain of Blessings 2” (extremely condensed practice)
Dudjom Troma Nagmo Chöd – lineage introduction and commentary
This is a very precious cycle of teachings—not only for practice, but also as a sacred object. Even for those not yet ready to practice, respectfully enshrining the text in a clean place can create auspicious conditions, as it represents the presence of the Three Jewels, the Three Roots (Guru, Yidam, Dakini), and Dharma protectors.
⚠️ Important Note
This is a Highest Vajrayana practice and should only be undertaken with proper empowerment and guidance from a qualified master. Practitioners are advised to maintain pure devotion and samaya, and not to engage in the practice independently.
🌸 May all beings who encounter this teaching develop pure faith, progress steadily on the path, and ultimately attain complete awakening for the benefit of all beings. 🙏
