This is a small metal mantra counting set, shaped as a Vajra (Dorje) and Bell (Ghanta), designed to be clipped onto a 108-bead mala for counting mantra recitations.

This pair represents wisdom and skillful means, the most essential symbolic union in Vajrayana Buddhism.

• Vajra (Dorje) → skillful means, great power, indestructibility

• Bell (Ghanta) → wisdom, emptiness

Together, the counters symbolize the union of wisdom and method in all spiritual practice.

How to Use:

• Attach the Vajra counter to the right side of the Guru bead

• Attach the Bell counter to the left side of the Guru bead

• Vajra counter: used to count tens (10, 20, 30, …)

• Bell counter: used to count units from 1 to 10

When all 10 small beads on the bell counter have been moved,
→ you have completed 1,080 mantra recitations.
Then move one bead on the vajra counter to record one set of ten,
resulting in 10 × 1,080 = 10,800 mantra recitations.
