A deity amulet (also known as a protective amulet, mantra amulet, or deity protection amulet ) is a type of ritual object worn around the neck in Tibetan Tantric Buddhism.
It contains an image of a deity or mantra inside, which serves to protect, bless, and connect with the energy of the deity .
Types of metal strap:

Avalokiteshvara – Chenrezig → peace, compassion

Tara – the Goddess of Mercy → protector, rescuer from misfortune.

Vajrapani → strength, protection, removal of obstacles

Manjushri → intelligence

Medicine Buddha → healing

Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) → extremely powerful obstacle remover

Mahakala → powerful protector, guardian, obstacle remover

How to use a metal strap
✔ Wear it around your neck , under your collar, when going out.
✔ Keep clean
✔ Do not let it fall into unclean places (toilets, dirty ground, etc.)
✔ When taking it down, place it on a raised platform or small altar.
✔ When wearing it, one should have a respectful attitude.
It is not required to have received the “ordination” to wear it →
